    U. N. Owen was the mysterious host that invited all the different people to his house but then he never showed up to entertain his guests. As all his guests are then in the sitting room, when a strange voice comes over the speakers and accuses each of them of murder. They all help to piece together the stories and figure out that their mystery host, U. N. Owen's, name is actually just a homophone, and his identity is still a secret.

  3. All the guests actually thought they were being invited by different people who they were aquainted with. But U.N.Owen was a false identity that remains to be anounced as to who this person truly is. He has brought the guests to Soldier Island to expose them and they have been accused of murder. One by one they start to admit to actually commiting these murders all though some were on accident.

  4. So far, in the book i got kind of confused but its really good. U. N. Owen is this fake identity. there were ten people who were all invited to this island. each of the ten people were invited by the same person but they were tricked into thinking that it was someone they knew. that way they would actually come because if it was a random person... i wouldnt come and im pretty sure that they wouldnt either. U. N.
Owen is a a code i guess that is supposed to be like the word unknown. the people find out that the person who invited them isnt actually who invited them. but its all the same person.

  5. Daddy's Little girl is by far one of the best mystery books I have ever read! The book started out with the main character Ellie having a flashback of the night Ellie's siter Andrea was murdered. Years past after Rob Westerfield is convicted of the murder Ellie still feels like she could've stopped her sister from getting murdered. So when Rob was getting a new trial Ellie thinks it's her responsibility to keep Rob in jail so that he can't hurt anymore inocent girls. So after years of staying away from the town that Andrea was murdered in she knows she must move bacl for her sister. As Ellie was growing up she became a journalist for an Atlanta paper. So when Ellie found out that if Rob's grandmother was convinced he was Andrea's murderer that she would leave her money to charities instead of Rob in her will. She decided to make a blog to let everyone know of all the bad things Rob has done. At the end of the book Rob pretends to be a housekeeper for the Westerfield's and calls in saying "she" has evidence that could keep Rob in jail for the rest of his life. "The housekeeper" said to met up in a deserted alley. Ellie is so desperate to do anything to keep Rob in jail that she goes. When she is driving there she is hit by a car and is pushed into the woods. She finds out the "housekeeper" and driver of the car that has just pushed her into the woods is Rob. And Rob was out to kill Ellie. Luckily Ellie's stepbrother has been keeping a close eye on her and when he sees Rob going to kill Ellie he imediatly calls the police. When the police find Rob and Ellie Rob is arrested. Ellie finally feels that she can rest in peace!
